March: Colon Cancer Awareness Month
Colorectal cancer is a cancer that effect the colon or rectum and is one of the most common cancers in America. For 2023, the American Cancer Society (ACS) estimates that 153,020 Americans people will be diagnosed with colorectal cancer and 52,550 people will die from the disease. Historically, colon cancer has been the third most common cancer in men and women, and it remains so today.

Flu is spread through moisture droplets which can end up in the air or on your hands after you sneeze or talk.

Capital Health Plan Maintains Impressive Streak of Top NCQA Ratings

Each year NCQA rates health plans across the country, and CHP has earned superior distinction since NCQA began comparing and ranking health plans in 2005.

Open Enrollment Period
Starting January 1, 2019, there will be an Open Enrollment Period (OEP) that will allow Medicare beneficiaries to make “like plan” changes until March 31, 2019. This is not just an extension of the Medicare Annual Election Period (AEP) which is between October 15th and December 7th each year. The AEP dates remain unchanged.
