The Physician Group of Capital Health Plan (PGCHP) has received a limited amount of the COVID-19 vaccine. In keeping with the State of Florida guidelines, the doctors will initially be seeking to vaccinate patients of the PGCHP who are 65 years old and older, prioritizing those they feel are at increased risk because of current health conditions. If you meet this criteria and as supply allows, your PGCHP Primary Care Physician's (PCP) office will be contacting you to schedule an appointment for your first dose of the vaccine and will contact you for your second dose when the time is ready.
If you are a patient of another physician group, please contact your PCP to inquire about receiving the vaccine or contact your local Florida Department of Health for further instructions on scheduling an appointment for an upcoming vaccine clinic.
At this time, the PGCHP cannot schedule additional appointments to administer the vaccine outside of the members we have identified above. We are working closely with other local and state health care organizations to secure the vaccine and administer it to our members as soon as possible.
