Dr. Wallace is a board-certified Family Medicine and Geriatrics physician at the Nancy Van Vessem M.D. Center for Healthy Aging.
Dr. Wallace was born and raised on the island of Dominica from where he moved to New York City to further his education. He attended Queens College in New York before returning home to attend Ross University School of Medicine. After medical school he completed Family Medicine residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center and Geriatric Medicine at the North Shore Long Island Jewish Hospital. During medical school and residency, he got involved and became very passionate about medical missions which would eventually take him to numerous countries.
He has a passion for teaching whether his own patients, medical students, residents in training and at community outreach events. His approach to medical practice is to encourage his patients to always remain active mentally and physically as well as being proactive in their own medical care.
Dr. Wallace is married and has two young adult children charting their own paths. When he is not working, he enjoys exercise, travel, drone and digital photography.
