Dr. Walters was born in Fort Worth, Texas and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. She moved to Tallahassee in 2010 to attend Florida State University where she graduated with a degree in biological sciences. Dr. Walters completed a master’s program in biomedical sciences through the FSU bridge to Clinical Medicine Program where she conducted research on resident and physician knowledge of the E-cigarette. After graduating with her medical degree from FSU College of Medicine, she completed her Family Medicine Residency at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in 2022.
Dr. Walters spent the last three years serving the Southwest Georgia community in Thomasville. She is excited to return to Tallahassee.
