TALLAHASSEE — Capital Health Plan (CHP) today announced its Commercial HMO/POS plan earned 4.5 out of 5 stars in the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) 2025 Health Plan Ratings, the highest rating of any commercial health plan in Florida. NCQA released its 2025 ratings on Monday, Sept. 16.
“Earning Florida’s top commercial rating reflects our promise to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care for the communities we serve,” said Sabin Bass, President & CEO of Capital Health Plan. “It’s a testament to our physicians, care teams, and employees — and to our members, who trust us to help them live healthier lives.”
CHP is especially proud to once again earn 5 out of 5 stars on satisfaction with plan and plan services, a reflection of the value members place on our care and support.
NCQA’s annual ratings evaluate health plans nationwide on clinical quality and member experience using HEDIS® and CAHPS® measures, with plans rated on a 0–5 scale. This year, only a small share of plans achieved ratings of 4.5–5.0, underscoring the significance of CHP’s performance.
