Benefits for full-time employees

Health Coverage

Taking care of you and your family is priority. That is why Capital Health Plan provides fully paid health care coverage for your whole family. Our plan includes medical, prescription and vision care.

Short-term and Long-term Disability

Disability benefit premiums are 100% paid by Capital Health Plan. In situations when non-job related injuries, illnesses or other medical issues prevent you from working, disability insurance will help to protect your income.

MDTO (Major Disability Time Off)

In conjunction with the Short-term and Long-term Disability benefits Capital Health Plan has a Major Disability Time Off (MDTO) program to provide income protection during an absence after meeting the eligibility requirements.

Retirement Plan

Capital Health Plan cares about your future and therefore provides a funded Simplified Employee Pension (SEP) IRA. After meeting the eligibility requirements, you will be fully vested and the contributions made by Capital Health Plan remain with you.

Life and AD&D Insurance

Capital Health Plan provides Basic Life and AD&D insurance at no additional cost to you. We know that financial security provides peace of mind to families when the unexpected happens.

Voluntary Life and AD&D Insurance

You can also purchase additional Life and AD&D insurance at Capital Health Plan’s group rate.

Paid Time Off (PTO)

Capital Health Plan provides employees with the maximum flexibility in planning and taking discretionary time off through the accumulation of PTO hours. Based on time of completed service and hours worked PTO combines vacation, personal, sick, holiday, and other time off into one bank of hours that you manage yourself.

Health and Dependent Care Spending Accounts

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) are a great way for employees to save on taxes for medical and dependent care expenses. Under an FSA, employees are reimbursed for eligible, out-of-pocket health care and dependent care expenses on a pre-tax basis subject to the IRS and carrier’s rules.


Employees have the option to purchase dental coverage through two offered options.
