Dr. Pomidor is a board-certified Geriatrics physician at the Nancy Van Vessem MD Center for Health Aging at the Metropolitan location. She graduated from medical school at the Feinberg College of Medicine of Northwestern University in Chicago, then completed her family medicine residency and geriatrics fellowship training in the Cleveland-Akron area in Ohio. After serving as a geriatrics fellowship director, chief of Geriatrics and medical director at different locations in Ohio, Dr. Pomidor was recruited to help establish the Department of Geriatrics at the FSU College of Medicine, teaching and seeing patients in Tallahassee for the past 18 years.
Dr. Pomidor has special expertise and teaches nationally at the public and professional levels about driving for older adults, as well as exercise, cognitive health and falls. She is known for being quite thorough, attentive and dedicated to her patients. She very much enjoys taking care of patients and supporting their caregivers.
When not in the office, Dr. Pomidor enjoys music, reading, walking her dogs, and spending time with her own family.
